Harry Potter
Harry Potter
The Harry Potter books
gave children an excuse to read, they created a book meant for all ages,
because the selection of children books is so limited this gave them a chance
to read something new and never seen before which interested people. The basis
of the story was something different wizards weren't a common topic in books so
to make up a whole world was fantastic. The books themselves were well done and
a page turner. There aren't many parents I know who haven't read them we have
all 7 in our bookcase, almost 37 percent of kids in the US have read them. They
inspired a new genre of readers. It interested people who previously disliked
reading. Following this came the help, hunger games, the books thief all
wonderful novels. People could then see it being put on the big screen and see
all their favorite characters must've been an inspiring thing. Harry Potter has
a place in most of our childhood as was something new and different that hadn't
been much published before this and it inspired many young children to dream
big and imagine the impossible.
What I thought was always
interesting west he fact the child was the protagonist and hero I don't think
there are as many books where it's the child who saves everyone and it gave a
voice to children because often people would ignore Harry because he was just a
young boy but in the end he ended up saving them as well as all the other
Hogwarts students which showed kids they weren't as helpless as they were
always told they were,
You have some spelling errors. I have always loved harry potter too and I agree with all you said. Do you think that harry potter has had a negative effect on some children? Maybe it caused them to believe in the unreal and think that violence is a good thing? However, I love harry potter and think that it is a good book for kids because it makes them believe in themselves more.
